The Gladiator is now louder than a Prius. My wife is loving this new exhaust system. We were guinea pigs for SPD. I think it sounds great. Do you?

Sounds good on the video. I especially like the bird tweet at the end of the video after that brief silence.

So that's 2 different exhausts? One with resonator and one without?

Yup... they built two and had us pick the one we liked. We also had the exhaust shoved up under the bumper. We picked the one without the resonator.

free... I was they're guinea pig. They used my rig to spec it out so that going forward people could just bolt em on. If you get on the spd performance website it looks like they sell exhaust systems for the 700 range. Not bad. It seems that we have the only newer jeep that sounds beefy.

Ah I see. I'll have to give them a call and see what it would run me. The sound is beefy and exactly what the gladiator needs!

Meh. No offense, but *louder* exhaust on any engine smaller than a V8 (unless it is in a car) is not for me. I am fond of a good sounding V8 rumble in a pickup/SUV, but to put exhaust on an SUV or truck with a V6 is just silly. It doesn't sound good and there is minimal performance gain if any. To each their own. If I close my eyes and imagine it is a sports car I am listening to I would pick the first option. However, there is nothing tough sounding about either of them. I hope your wife enjoys one of them!
