Speedometer Needle Light ( How many have it )

Okay I know this is nitpicking and OCD but I just have to ask ? I noticed this a couple months ago . When my speedometer is around 38 to 42 mph on speedometer needle a light shows next to needle when sitting straight behind steering wheel . I first noticed this at night but can see during day also if you are looking for it. I ran a search on this forum with no results but also ran it on wrangler forum and it did show up on 2019’s . Some get it at different speeds. I have no plans of having instrument panel taken apart but was just wondering how common it is or if I’m just special, lmao ? Speedometer face must have a little play in it when manufactured I guess ? The picture included is not mine but was on the wrangler forum. I think mine is maybe smaller but this is clase

I have a feeling it was not something that was designed on purpose to be noticeable and slipped through the peer review process. Nor is it of significance for them to fix it. Just one of those things.

In case it’s monitoring you, put a piece of electrical tape over it and see if it goes into limp mode or throws an CEL. ?

Never noticed.

I have the numerical speed display in the VIC because I have the wheel tilted all the way down and can't really see the speedo so...never noticed.

Next time I'm out, I'll hafta look now that you've gotten my curiosity piqued

I have two BMW's and notice EVERYTHING. That friggen light hits me right in my eyes. I hate that thing and now I know it isn't just me...

They’d say the speedo warranty is void, due to lift and larger tires putting too much pressure on the Speedo gearbox fluid reservoir sending unit diode relay.
