So about a month or so ago I installed the 2.5 Clayton Ride Rite lift. No complaints what so ever on the lift. But I have developed a serious squeaking noise in the rear passenger side. It only squeaks when going over bumps at higher speeds.
So, I go through everything, loosened the arms (on a flat surface) and re-torqued to specs. Still squeaked. Took my rear brakes apart and applied brake grease on all parts. Still squeak. So, I got under it and checked every nut and bolt and made sure everything was tight. Then I noticed, way up in the spring bucket, the spring was shifted toward the front in the isolator. Looked as though the isolator was pinched underneath the coil. The driver coil had an even rubber ring around the top, the passenger side wasn't installed perfectly in the middle. So, before I remove everything to drop the axle to correct this, could this be what's causing the noise?
