Do you mean tri-fold? If it has a T-slot, it would be compatible. But obviously it probably can't be opened very much, because its height is only 13.4 inches, not a full-height bed rack

What kind of Hard or soft tonneau covers will work with this? Will the inner mounted covers work with this? I would assume a soft roll up be better than a hard trifold like I currently have.

Looks great! Would this work with the Rugged Ridge Armis roll-up tonneau cover?

We have only tried Mopar hard tri-fold (not suitable) and Bak X4s for gladiator (suitable for T-slots). We have not tried other covers yet.

Unfortunately after seeing their pictures I don't think it will work because it doesn't seem to have a T-slot.
Off topic: We are developing the SR2 rack, hoping to be as compatible as possible with bed covers on the market, with more expandable options, and of course the cost will be higher. If you are interested in us, SR2 will probably be completed in May of this year!

For a rack compatible with the mopar tri fold I would pay double, at least.
This is what we are working towards! Although I like hard roll-up covers like Bak X4s, I still like the simplicity of tri-fold covers.

And we definitely understand the importance of tounnou covers for trucks! We just experienced a trip without tounnou covers yesterday (ours was lent to a friend). Imagine that you arrive at the hotel at 2 a.m., but you still have to move the heavy luggage in the bed into the cab before you can leave the parking lot with confidence... and then move them back before driving at 5 a.m. the next day...

We have some designs and thoughts, but we can't show you yet because of patent issues.

In fact, this problem is more difficult than we thought. We made several versions of solutions to try to be compatible with the cover. I know there are many similar designs on the market, but we still want something different

Yep, that's the one! Yes, I think I would be interested in the SR2, so I'll keep an eye out for it. I love the Armis cover, so I've been looking at what would work with it. I won't be in the market right away, but it's on the list of mods at some point, for sure. Probably next Fall.

Thanks so much!

Sir,
I recieved one of 6 bedracks that were built and sold by CabFab in spring of 2022. CabFab designed a unit somewhat like yours and was planning on producing the unit. unfortunately, they never went into full production. over the past 2 years, I have modified my unit to include lights and a solar charging system.
as I am looking at your unit i noticed the grab handles and wondered where you obtained them. that is a very good idea because as a person is up at that level, you need to be able to hold on to something other than the rails themselves.
one item that i did after i received the unit because the unit was bare metal, i went and had the unit powder coated by using prismatic powders.com super grip starlight.
good luck on the unit. it looks good.

This is a great looking rack! Congratulations!

I haven’t looked at this one in detail yet, but I can probably see some advantages

1. The one-piece side panel speeds up assembly, and the built-in support column ensures sufficient stability while ensuring a clean appearance

2. Multiple holes can be customized to add molle, and carriage screws are used to prevent loosening

3. As long as possible to increase the area for fixing items

4. There are no annoying large logos, tacky five-pointed stars or other patterns, but a low-key ‘C’, which is consistent with our philosophy!

I noticed that it seems to be non-adjustable in width, so this should be a Gladi-specific rack?

These are just ordinary aluminum alloy handles that are fixed to the rack with screws. I tried to find them on amazon for you:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XXGV1VQ/ref=twister_B09XWB96CD?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

I think a lot of gate handles will work, and you can even add some different styles! It should be fun! Maybe try to find a handle that is compatible with your existing rack hole spacing, so you can avoid drilling holes. I tried searching for some, hope it helps, please make sure to install it firmly!

Please note that these are just examples, I am not sure if your hole spacing will be compatible with these handles

I got excited for a second until I saw they won't work with covers. Appreciate the day you're looking into that. Check out BilleBars or JCR's rack as some examples. Glad to see you guys pushing on with additional products. I've enjoyed my tube doors in the short time I've used them.

I understand what you mean, and compatibility with Cover is a problem we are very concerned about.

SR1 (Sturdy rack one) is what we prepared for customers with limited budgets. It has a simple structure but we chose thicker steel plates to improve stability. I hope more people can give us a chance to try it. I must admit that many details of this rack were made by the factory for us. We are also stepping up the development of SR2, and hope it can satisfy you.

I am glad to hear that you like our SD1 tube door! It is a product that we are proud of, and we will continue to serve you and develop new products!
