So I been running Rubicon Take off shocks on my Sport S Max Tow. Am thinking about going with some new shocks and something that perhaps is a bit of a step up but not breaking the bank. Its mostly my daily driver with some sand and some light offroad trails. No plans for rock crawling much anytime in the near future.
Figured I would throw it out to the bored for some possible good options. Currently running Wildpeak 33's for about another 15,000 miles and then either go back to 33's or maybe 35's if I find something I like that works as a somewhat quiet daily driver that isn't hard on the MPG.

It really depends on what your definition of breaking the bank is

I bought 4 of the red shocks from a Rubicon and can just about bounce the rear tires off the ground of my Tow max Sport s . I put the OE shocks back on and its like a sports car compared

i like the rock krawler 2.25" RRD shocks. They are fully rebuildable and tunable. At about 225 a pop that gets at the 1k price point.

If you don't want rebuildable and cheaper get the bilstien 5100's

Bilstein or Eibach shocks is where I would be looking if in the same situation.
