I wish i was, sadly I'm in Oregon for the next few weeks then back to MT for work.
Great looking bed though.
No worries. Would have been happy to help a fellow gladiator inmate out. I was planning on having it sprayed so i made a "clean" copy without surface imperfections.
Spring will arrive soon for you. It's camping season in Texas. Take care.

In the film Contact there was a memorable line "First rule in government spending: why build one when you can have two at twice the price?"
I do have all the components made to put together a second one. Are you nearby Austin, TX?
Any chance you would ship the second set?

This looks nice and simple. Is it supported in the front at all? Or does it just rest on the storage bin? Is there a hinge on the back?
Thanks
There is a piano hinge under the carpet on the side closest to the back. I have a 1x1 that drops down on the front right and the left side rests on the cup holders.

I have been contemplating options for covering the rear seat delete platform I built last year. It has worked well, but as I expected the paint is degrading. Having a carpet of some type seems to be a better idea anyway due to helping create and anti-slip surface.

Amazon has tons of options as usual but I have never carpeted anything before, be it a platform or a sub box. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these marine carpets, or if there might be a better option available.

Color is also a serious consideration. I really am not at all a fan of an interior entirely black. I think it's horrid. But having a piece of tan or dark brown would contrast pretty bad as well. This particular option does offer a tan - but I can't tell if it would work ok with the tan armorlite which seems more like a very light sand color from pictures.
