Has anyone found a successful way to seal the tailgate on your Gladiator from water and dirt ?

There are seal kits you can buy on Amazon - the seal the sides and bottom of the tailgate when closed. A lot of pickups have that issue - even my Chevy did. It actually got worse inside than my JT does - but I'm thinking of a seal kit from Amazon as I don't like seeing the driveway through those gaps when I flip the bed cover open.

I also hated the dust and dirt coming into the bed. Tried the PAPILLON Tailgate Stripping. The 4.25" wide stripping lasted a total of 4 days. It just wouldn't stick. Now, I do have the factory bed liner but was told it would still work. I cleaned the surface really well but it didn't seem to make a difference. I did see a wider product so may give it a try in the summer, getting to cold here in Atlantic Canada to expect something like that to stick now. Cheers!

I just ordered the TruXedo liner. I'll let you know what I come up with up.

Wound up going with a Bedrug impact bed mat with the tailgate option. It has a integrated piece between the bed and tailgate that helps minimize the amount of crap coming into the bed.

Other than some of the finer “baby powder” type dust, this set up with my folding tonneau cover manages quite well.

What'd you spray?
Mother Nature did the spraying.........

That's SNOW - I drove the morning after a snow storm.
When there's snow on the roads, well.............. that's the results.

Oh, and for that pesky backup camera - Do people STILL think RainX is the solution? LOL - no, my warm thumb was.

This tailgate/camera photo was taken the same time the "snow in the bed" was taken. Everything was closed up when I drove it, tail gate up, tonneau cover in place.

Yes, we too get snow in the bed from the tailgate, as does dust.

I bet you have if you've driven at all with snow on the road.

It's actually a pretty large gap for stuff to get in - anyone who has stood in the box with the tail gate up and looked can easily see right through that large gap.
Next "accessory" - something to fill that gap but let water drain if necessary (it's never had water in there, that's just in case) Time to hit Amazon, I guess.
