Hey there - any idea if we can do the same with the Gladiator's tailgate?
Im relatively certain that is a drop down from an older SUV.It looks like the OP's pic may be of a lower aftermarket tailgate for trailering a 5th wheel??? Obviously no locking mech and there's some kind of latch on the outside in the center of the TG.
I also think it is a drop down from and SUV. The principle is still the same and could be done on just about any tailgate so long as the person was willing to start hacking it up.Im relatively certain that is a drop down from an older SUV.
Either way, interesting idea.
Shape looks like a 100 series Land Cruiser with the rise on either side. I've seen the same on a Disco as well.Im relatively certain that is a drop down from an older SUV.
Either way, interesting idea.
Was thinking of keeping the in foam, putting some zip ties to hold them securely in place with the reinforcement pieces within the tailgate, etc...Rather than having small items bouncing around in the tailgate, I would store them under a seat. Also make sure they won't slide out underfoot if I have to stop quickly.
Like the weight and noise from an engine belt, or fuel pump (the actual pump), some wires, some other items that you will need to super rarely and wrapped in something that doesn't hold humidity but is soft, then we would be good...question is, what are these items that we should store there? Was thinking of keeping the in foam, putting some zip ties to hold them securely in place with the reinforcement pieces within the tailgate, etc...
