Anybody taken the soft tonneau off their vehicle yet? Is there a video anywhere? easy/hard? length of time to do it?

Anybody? Is there a bracket by the tailgate for those little tabs to press into? How does it connect to the back of the bed?

Are you talking about the roll up one? Or the folding one?

I haven't removed mine, but did look at the brackets. I'm thinking with my lil impact I could have it off in 5 mins

Oh wait... you’re asking about the other thing...

Where you can still flip the last part of the cover up, even with the tailgate closed...

Yea I can’t see anything that would really hold it in place.

@steffen707 This is a picture of one of the brackets that holds down the soft roll tonneau cover at the front of the bed. I saw only two of these, one at either end. Now I'm second-guessing myself, was there one more? I'll triple check...
It seems that removing those screws removes the cover completely.

So who has actually removed the factory soft, rollup tonneau cover? I just removed the two bolts for the brackets at the front of the bed....what is still preventing me from lifting it off?
Is there double stick tape at the corners??

Well I figured what was going on..... The owners manual fails to mention that you have to pull the cover front base rearward about 3/4” to disengage the brackets before you can lift it up.
Even the latest manual update omits this detail.

Jake,
What you just posted is for the trifold. I'm talking about the soft roll up that has no panels.

Oops, my bad. I bet the instructions for the soft roll up tonneau are also on the Mopar site. Did you check there? I can try to find it if needed. No more alcohol or hard drugs for me today. I promise.
