I bought at jerry ulm on dale mabry, dealing is going to be determined by trim and availability.. mine is a high altitude diesel trim and Im happy with my deal.. there is a worksheet/spreadsheet on the forum to give you an idea of invoice etc.

Jeep Gladiator Rubicon fully loaded....
I emailed the Internet sales managers at all 8 dealers in the surrounding area...
2 of them told they stopped 2021 ordering and 5 others told me they would not
accept any orders under MSRP.
The only one that would accept my offer of 1% under dealer invoice
using the Tread Lightly FFP Discount. was Josh Moore at...

Easy deal...no negotiating at all....did everything online
and confirmed with my deposit over the phone.

You need to become a $100 member of Tread Lightly and you will
need the membership letter...took me 3 days to receive which then
allows you to register for your Discount Control #...that I was able
to get the same day...
Very easy...

Thanks but may be switching jobs and will need to buy off the lot. I used to be a tread lightly member before. So none of the dealers doing deals in the market now?

You may have better luck by going to the dealers...
I stopped going to dealerships years ago..
I do all my negotiating online or over the phone,
If the dealer does not accept my offer I will just move
to the next one.
But using a dealer to just place your order with no trade
is easier than trading or buying from the lot.

Thanks but won’t have time to order and wait for it to be made. Will have to buy form what’s on the lot.

I bought a JKU about 5 years ago from Jim Browne in Dade City, and they were super easy to deal with. I tried Courtesy Jeep on Hwy 60 just West of I-75 before going to Jim Browne, and the salesman only wanted to push me into colors and models I wasn’t interested in. I bought my JTR in North FL (live oak) but that’s a hike. That being said, there’s a dealer in Bradenton (Firkins) that had quite a few JTs on their lot about a month ago. I’m about 15 mins from you, in the Apollo beach area- welcome to Tampa Bay!

Not sure if you are still looking but I dealt with Mike Peralta in Lakeland last week. Had everything signed and the deposit paid within a few quick emails and phone calls. Was right around 7% below invoice. Way better than Jerry Ulm or Ferman.

Thanks. I may need to get a vehicle in about a month or so. Prefer a manual transmission Mojave. Checked out Lakeland inventory and only base sports with manuals. I will keep my eye on it to see if they get anything else in.
ended up joining tread lightly and started the 30 day waiting period in case a dealer will not be willing to negotiate to at least get 1% below invoice.
so far Ferman in Lutz has a few on the lot.

I’ve had good dealings with Lakeland CDJR, bought three Jeep’s there, they couldn’t make the gladiator deal so I went to to Fitzgerald in Clearwater…got what I wanted for the deal and did 90% of the deal over email, text and phone. Only spent an hour at the dealership for trade and inspect the new vehicle. I would recommend them as well.
