Tazer JL Lite drops auto on/off after remote start.

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but my tazer JL mini forgets my auto on/off setting when the jeep is started remotely.

It took me a while to figure out why it was forgetting so I thought I'd pass along the info.

If you haven't updated the firmware, give that a try. might help.

Thanks for reporting your find. Are you able to get it going again after remote starting it or do you have to turn off and re-start by pushing the button?

Let me make sure I'm being clear..
The tazer has been saving my auto on/off setting of "disabled".

If I start with the remote start button on my key fob it resets to the default of "enabled"

So all I have to do to fix the issue is press the auto on/off button after started.

This is interesting. I noticed ESS kicked in the other day which was odd because I always have it off. I just assumed a glitch in the Tazer. Now that I read this I'm pretty sure that was the one time I had done a Remote start, and I believe I did it from the uconnet app. I'll have to pay more attention to that. If we can confirm that's the case we'll have to let them know.

Anyone else notice this?

Fyi remote start on my 392 with tazer and it turns from 2 wheel to 4 wheel.

i just stay away from remote start because its querky with the tazer

This time of year, I use the remote start every day. No problems with ESS or the tazer, except for one time when I accidently hit the ESS button while turning off the defrosters.
