Ok off the wall thought. Has any Tazer JL Mini user forgotten to remove it prior to visiting the shop for warranty work? If so what was the service departments reaction if any?

Depending on work being done they would have no buisness looking in the security bypass port. And 99% wouldn't even know it wasn't standard

I've done LOF, with the TazerJL and the Pulsar without issue.
IF I was going for something electronic, like a recall or software update, I'd pull them.

I got a Tazer Mini on my JL that I left prior to dropping it in for warranty work. My dealer doesn't care.

When I ordered my JT I had the parts guy put bigger tires on before I even picked it up and signed for it, and part of that transaction INCLUDED an aftermarket product similar to a Tazer, for adjusting the speedometer for the larger tires. He said he never sets it and keeps the device, he always sells the device as part of any tire-size change. So apparently some dealers expect you to walk out the door with a brand new JT with a similar device already plugged in. Another dealer can't exactly argue when they see it if they know other dealers sell and install them.

I have both and I keep the Tazer Mini plugged in the OBD for the Live Features.....No problems at all

you want the one for the JL, I sent a message to them and they replied back saying to you the JL for JT... so far no issues to report on mine.
