Are you hitting the unlock button multiple times?Ever since I installed the Tazer, my bed lights stay on? Anyone else have strange light issues?
That's good to know, did not see that in the manual. Are you hitting the unlock button multiple times?
One of the Tazer features is if you press unlock 3x it turns on the bed lights, and 5x it turns on bed and reverse lights. They will stay on for 30 minutes, or until you press the lock button.
That's understandable, the manual is horrible. Page 13 on the current version: https://www.zautomotive.com/zpu/instructions/TazerJLMiniUserGuide1128.pdfThat's good to know, did not see that in the manual.
No. Once you press lock the lights turn off.I’m buying one so stupid question probably….
After reading the manual, it says the bed lights will stay on for 30 minutes if you press the unlock 3x.
Even after you hit the lock button it reads the lights will stay on for 30 minutes. Is that true ? Basically once activated, they are on a timer and cannot be turned off for 30 minutes?
Yea, for what, 30 seconds? With the Tazer they will stay on for up to 30 minutes. Unlock 5x and the reverse lights also come on as well. Both very handy to have this time of year when you are loading/unloading stuff in the dark. What is the point of hitting unlock 3x to get the bed lights to turn on? On mine, all I have to do is just hit unlock once and the bed lights come on......
No, this is an "active" feature - meaning the Tazer has to be plugged in for it to work. Can I do this with an OBD? If so, anyone know the correct settings?
Okay that makes sense. Factory time is way too short. Thank you!Yea, for what, 30 seconds? With the Tazer they will stay on for up to 30 minutes. Unlock 5x and the reverse lights also come on as well. Both very handy to have this time of year when you are loading/unloading stuff in the dark.
Yeah, honestly I wish I didn't even have to hit it 3x to get it to stay on for 30 minutes and instead could just make that the default time! It's rare that I'm happy they turned off within 30 seconds lol.Okay that makes sense. Factory time is way too short. Thank you!
