Tazer Mini - license plate lights

Just updated my Tazer Mini to 11.2.6 beta. Even before this update, the manual says there is an option to turn off the license plate lights while in reverse to keep from drowning out the backup camera. I can not find this setting anywhere in any of the menus. Does anyone know how to activate this setting?

Also, does anyone know how to disable Hot Keys? I somehow have a lightshow hot keyed and my wife keeps activating while driving.

I know nothing about the hot keys but the license lights should be automatic. It kicked my ass for awhile and gave up and then realized that night they were off when in reverse.

Same here - I did not purposefully program those lights to go off when in reverse, but the Tazer just did it automatically, I reckon. I didn't think those lights were a pain to begin with, but I'm good with it either way.

I have also not studied up on the 'hot key' issue - sorry.

So its a live function as long as the Tazer is plugged in they will be off there is nothing to turn off in the settings on the Jeep

Do I need to do anything when I unplug the tazer or can I just unplug it? What I mean is, do I have to unmarry or select some other option when I unplug or just unplug?

If you're unplugging it to update it, you can just unplug it. No need to unmarry.

If you're taking the vehicle in for service and you want to put things back to factory settings, you need to unmarry it before unplugging.

Nothing to do when unplugged if you unmarry it you will lose your settings

Unmarried a few weeks ago before going in for service. Remarried a day or two ago and the license light blanking no longer works.
