So there are now at least 3 choices for 1.5" leveling kits that I'm aware of including the Alloy USA kit, the Daystar kit, and the Teraflex kit. What's interesting is the Daystar and the Alloy USA kits come with shock extensions whereas the Teraflex does not have shock extensions but does include new bump stops whereas the others do not include bump stops. Curious the reasoning behind this considering all 3 kits are 1.5 inch.
Also has anyone here installed the Teraflex kit yet and if so, pictures and impressions would be appreciated.

Honestly, at 1.5" bump stop extensions and shock extensions are both unnecessary. But, if I had to pick one, I'd rather have the shock extensions. The shocks do a lot to locate the axle properly in it's arc of travel and maintain proper up and down travel. They should be kept close to their factory ride height point in their stroke. The only thing bump stop extensions will do is limit down travel to prevent damage to the coils, but at 1.5" it's not enough difference to cause a collapsed coil.

I will say that the Daystar shock extension brackets are BEEFY. They make the stuff that Rough Country sent me look ridiculous.

That's good information Shawn. I will take your advice and likely go with the Daystar kit. I read that you used the factory isolators when you installed your front which if I'm understanding your post correctly necessitated you to install a 0.75" spacer in the rear. Do you think if I eliminate the factory isolator it will eliminate the need for the extra rear spacer you installed?

Just ordered the Daystar kit today! :fist bump:

Also stopped by Discount Tire and explained my plan to them. Their recommendation is the Nitto Ridge Grappler 35. So I think that is the way I am heading. Will post pics before/after.

They do it so you don't pay for extensions and get their shocks instead.

I installed the Teraflex kit a couple weeks ago. I just used the 1" spacer. No problems thus far.

He used a 1" spacer in the front. The teraflex kit comes with a 1" spacer + a 0.5" spacer that can stack on top of the 1" spacer. You can use just one or both of them.

May do the same. Having the dealer install wheels and 315/70/17 Duratracs (34.4") on my Granite Crystal Rubicon before I take delivery. Will see how it rides and if anything rubs first. Probably need to hit a trail and flex the suspension a bit to know for sure.
