Just wanted to share my experience with TeraFlex, and give you very real guidance on my opinion if you are looking for a lift for your Jeep. In December 2020, I bought my 2021 Willys edition Gladiator. I immediately started adding aftermarket parts and started looking for a suspension lift. I actually called Rebel Offroad in So Cal, due to my experience with them before leaving Ca (I have a 2018 JLU Rubicon too). I told my guy over there (Jacob) that I was looking to build a moderate over landing vehicle that would also be a daily driver. He quickly recommended the TeraFlex system that I now have. This kit comes without shocks but you can add any of the Falcon Shocks that you want to it, or go with another brand if you feel strongly about it. The CT2 kit comes with quick disconnect front end links, very nice springs, all 8 Alpine control arms (allowing for the perfect wheel spacing, and outside of the Falcon shocks, are my favorite part of this lift) and a front adjustable track bar, not to mention all the required mounting parts. I added the Falcon 3.3 quick adjustable shocks to my set up. The added reservoir and fluid in the shocks totally makes a difference in the Arizona climate. This definitely isn’t the most inexpensive lift you can put on your vehicle, but why buy things more than once? In my experience, Teraflex not only backs up their product, but also offer readily available support for issues. That brings me to my point. I did have my lift installed by my good buddies at Bent Motorsports in San Marcos California (yes I made a 450 mile trip just for them to lift my truck and say hi to them, hung out and helped out a little, it was a blast). The owner Dave, is a real off-roader and has over 30 years experience, along with pit crewing at the Hammers in Johnson Valley. I only state this stuff because I don’t want to mislead anyone with my review of TeraFlex. I had a couple issues (small) but still, I would want to know about this stuff if I was putting a lift on my vehicle. Too many people blindly support companies, especially for sponsorship purposes ( but to point out, none of these issues were due to inexperience installing parts). My first issue was my rear spring on the passenger side. If I went over a large enough speed bump or hopped a curb (test purposes to recreate the noise from the speed bump) the spring would make a loud knock noise. Figured out that as the tension in the spring let off, it was moving and making the noise. What I did was add a spring clamp to the base of the lower spring. My opinion of why this noise was happening is because there is no plastic buffer on the spring at the bottom so it’s just metal on metal (the factory springs have plastic molding on them), I think TeraFlex should add a silencer of sorts to eliminate this, even if mine was an anomaly . Noise is gone, good to go, thank you clamp! The next issue, and this one was kinda disappointing on the quality control. The front track bar began making noise, a light knocking noise when turning left or right. A closer look revealed that the adjustable portion where the threading is, cannot be tightened enough to eliminate millimeter movement in the bar, and visually you can see the bar flex as the axle turned, no good! Then on top of that the bushings were either poorly made (never had any issues with TeraFlex bushings in the past though) or blown out in less than 1,000 miles. That bar was rotating while mounted and making a clicking noise. To TeraFlex’s credit they asked for a video of the issue, shot it to engineering and offered solutions. Though a disclaimer was given, the solutions would cause more movement in my steering. I declined the solutions and asked to return the track bar. TeraFlex stood behind their product and accepted the return with zero grief. My hopes are that TeraFlex redesigns the bar because I have seen a lot of issues from other people with them since coming across it myself. But that’s it. No crazy issues, no problems over a couple thousand miles now. My Gladiator drives amazing, and really is everything I wanted it to be from the lift. You can order the kit without the track bar, avoiding any potential issues with that and I am positive you will be fully blown away with the stance, drivability, and capability of your ride with TeraFlex parts on it. I have had TeraFlex Apline control arms, and 1.75 inch wheel spacers on my Wrangler JLU for over a year and have never had any issues. So this isn’t me just saying the parts work, this is me saying the parts endure, crawl, drive, and look great too. I hope this helps you out.

The Rogue Trail is basically the same kit except with higher level control arms that have independent rotating bushings. Those are meant to optimize greater flex without binding.

Hey. This is helpful. I have the same kit getting ready for an install. Do you have a photo of the spring clamp that you installed?

I’ll take one or two. But you may not have this issue.

FYI, Sean from The Story 'Til Now just installed this kit on his gladiator.

Great video, this suspension is actually categorically a little different. The control arms, shocks, are a step up from mine. The springs are 4.5 over my 3.5. But this is quality stuff here.

Thanks for the review; I'm considering this lift. Do you have any side profile shots with the vehicle on level ground?

Are there any driveshaft issues on the 3.5" lifts like there was on the Wranglers?

Do you think 37s could work with sport fenders and this kit? How is the on road ride compared to stock?
