Anyone been following the Tesla Cybertruck? Reveal is tonight. There's going to be a stream here:

And a leaked image today of the rear of it. Looks like solid rear axle which makes sense since this is supposed to be heavy duty.

This may end up too futuristic looking for some buyers but since it's an EV and it's Tesla, it'll probably introduce some never before seen tech and features in a pickup. Worth following at least IMO. Competition is good.

I'll be tuning in tonight, that's for sure. Should be interesting though I don't expect it to be produced for 2-3 years. I nearly ended up with a Model 3 last year until I settled on my i3s. Tesla makes interesting cars - I'm glad they're around to shake up the automotive industry if nothing else. I highly doubt cars like the Mustang Mach-E would exist if Tesla never came to be.

Well, ignoring the fact that they have still yet to bring the Y, the Semi, and the New Roadster to the market, it will be interesting to see if they have enough working capital to bring a "bullet-proof" stainless body pickup to the market. Ignoring the looks, I would eat my hat if they bring a 39K version of it to the market anytime soon. I would eat my hat, and buy him a steak dinner if the model they bring to market is anything like he is promising.

Rivian, Ford, GM, and probably Dodge will beat them to the market, probably by years.

So... good luck Elon.
