Thanks for the update.

The unique aspect of the AntiShanty rooftop solution is that it is hard-sided. Where you and I live and camp, that is a strong point, as some of the camping areas are prohibiting any soft sided camping due to grizzly activity!

Like a good fisherman, I don't divulge my secret holes, but suffice it to say National Forest campgrounds outside either Yellowstone or Glacier you find these signs. But griz are expanding their range through most of the mountain areas in western montana, eastern Idaho, and NW Wyoming. I've a friend who was stalked by a griz within 15 yards while bow hunting in the mountains this season, 100's of miles from the National parks. A cross country bicyclist was killed a couple years ago in her tent in the town center of Ovando a couple hours north of where I live.

If you are sleeping on top of your galley, in a soft sided tent, the griz call that a burrito.

Not saying a determined griz couldn't destroy the side of an Antishanti, but it would at least slow him down enough to deploy other measures (whether spray or 10mm+ caliber)

Yeah, the galley under the RTT blows my mind that there haven't been more issues. People around here (Gallatin NF) wake up to to paw marks on the side or on their campers (usually black bears) all the time from them sniffing the scents. I wouldn't want to entice them with butter fried steak smoke all over my sleeping area. Backpacking for 30+ years around Central/Western MT (growing up camping in griz central, the Missions too) I've never had a problem because of clean camp practices, still practice that while truck camping.

The Antyshanty design is neat, I like seeing them expand on their idea, love their trailers.
