Introducing: THE CHUCKWAGON, my 2022 JTRD!

Alright, So I have been delaying posting this build sheet for too long now, so I'm finally going to give this a shot. This tab on my computer has been open way too long.

The name comes from the fact I want to turn this jeep into the ultimate camping kitchen, as I'm that crazy guy who loves to cook for everyone out on the trail. I'm not a big fan of turning around and going back, so I wanted be able to conquer almost any terrain I could encounter. At the end of this summer, two days before we left on our 5,500 mile road trip across the western USA, all the off-road capability goodies go on, crossing our fingers nothing goes wrong mid-trip! (Luckily, everything went well for the most part, no major issues!):

Why did you remove the Metalcloak sector shaft brace? Asking because I'm about to order one.

It started making a horrible grinding noise and wouldn’t allow the Jeep to return the wheel to center. Upon inspection we even saw metal shavings coming out of the shaft/bushing area. We reached out to Metalcloak about it and heard nothing back, so we removed it as we were on a time crunch for our trip. I’d reinstall one if I could get a fix from them.

Thanks I appreciate that. I did not need to upgrade either driveshaft as the sdi’s full extension doesn’t necessitate it. I have not regeared yet, but when I have my rig finished it’ll weigh quite a bit, and I may go to 4.11s then

First time out on the beach in this Jeep, what a nice sunset. Picked up some Staun deflators to make the process a bit quicker.

One more question what was Lift height, shock eyelet length and clip position you picked for your Shocks order?

I’d have to go back and see if I wrote it down somewhere. But for something as important as that, I’d contact SDI and your lift kit company and coordinate their answers. That way if something goes wrong with fitment you’ll have it from the horses mouth.

For the WeBoost did you install it in the cab and how did you run the antenna? I see most people going through the rear cab vent.

Yep you nailed it, went through the rear cab vent. Mounted the interior antenna on the A pillar behind my phone mount.
