Absolutely hilarious lol. Hopefully this guy learned that wet muddy grass is one of the lowest traction surfaces you can drive on.
A Jeeps greatest weakness... a ditch.

Found this guy yesterday trying to cut across parking lots, I was really just excited to get to use the winch.
So great. It couldn’t even crawl through a mall.

Was that an old JK?

I ask because while the BLD is not a perfect solution, this is exactly the kind of situation where it should have helped?

What year did they start with BLD? JKs go back 13 or so years. Were they launched with BLD back in 2010??(ish)

How did they get stuck? I'm guessing it looks worse in person than on the video? I would think the driver could maneuver a little bit and get out further down the median?

From what I could tell, he hit that ditch at just the wrong angle. Neither the front right or rear left tire had traction. yes, it was a JK but I don't know what year and I didn't see his interior.

I know you were excited to use the winch, but even on a 'little' pull, you should be inside with your foot on the brake and transmission in N.

Should have left him there... Looks to me he was just trying to dick up people's property. Looks like he already hit it coming the other way.
I hear you, but its really common location where people try (and fail) to cross this ditch. I saw a pick-up truck try to do it last year and get stuck. then I car lose its bumper not long after that.

this guy was just trying to get back to the light and avoid going all the way around.
