Not by enough to notice. It also adds some waterproofing that, if you look around the edge under the Jeep logo, I feel the key lacks.

Don't know if it works for the JT switchblade but I had a big problem with my current car switchblade. Solution was to stick a small folded piece of paper between the blade and the housing so it creates enough friction that the spring can't open it even if you hit the release. If you need to open it you pull the blade out like you would a pocket knife blade.

The size of the fob doesn't really bother me, but I also don't wear tight pants. The covers are a thin silicone, and add just enough to keep the button from getting pressed.

Well some of us wear extremely tight pants to show off and with my top knot is a deadly combination for the ladies. So yeah, it bothers me when the key opens up. Thankfully, theres superglue!

+1 for AJT, I think. Mine's out for delivery. I'm pretty stoked, cause the current size is annoying, and I have to pay attention to which orientation I put it in my pocket in, so it doesn't open up and get all stuck...
The key blade snaps in the back out of sight, so it's handy if you need it.

I took a thin strip of Scotch Reflexlite and fixed it.
If I need the blade, I can cut/replace the reflective.
BONUS: drop it in the dark and it reflects.

I just powered up my Dremel Tool. I ground about 1/8th of an inch off the button and it no longer flips open. The button is still tall enough that if I need to flip it out I can.
