Tires are ugly brown!

As far as the trailer tires go, I've since learned, regardless of tread, replace then no longer than 4 years after the manufacturing date. I replaced mine with Good years. Put about 2000-2500 miles on them then parked the 5'er in covered storage in 2016'ish where she's been since...lol Really need to sell it.

My china bombs are two years old. Im Eyeing Michelins as replacements

Spray on some Bleche-Wite, let it act for a couple minutes, scrub with a nylon brush and hose off.

If it doesn’t remove all the gunk after one try, repeat a second time. It will remove all the grime.

I second this product. Been using it for years. Caution dont spray in the wind, burns your eyes.

Once you get them clean. Protect with 303 Aerospace protectant. Do not use products with petroleum distillates.

So I have 37” Milestar Patagonia M/T tires. I’ve washed and scrubbed, pressure washed, tried everything and they don’t look anywhere close to black. Very brown. Any recommendations?

I have same tires and had same problem. My fix. Get some Simple Green, and use a stiff long bristle brush to scurb the tires a couple times. Let them dry and use some original formula Armor All to cover the tires surface. Let dry. It took two wash and two applications of the product to get the desired black result. I now wash the vehicle and tires regularly with car soap, let dry, and spray tires with the Armor All and they stay black without being shiny. I don't like shiny, but I do like black. I have used same process on many other brands of tires with same result. Good luck to you.

My BFGs have an orangish brown appearance when left “natural.” It is due to the rubber compound and normal. After washing (no need to scrub unless mud is stuck on them), a quick coat of 303 protectant or similar, as others have noted, while bring them closer to black.

This is best stuff for tires I have ever found. It leaves them with a satin black finish like new and its does not turn brown like most tire dressing products. Its made for air craft and it lasts for months and repels dirt.

This is what I do, works well on all plastic and rubber. I used it on my leather and it's easier to get in and out.
