Towing Capacity fro the new JT?

I have seen so many conflicting reports on this subject which will most likely be the reason I keep my JK or buy the JT. I have two tow vehicles now ( GMC Yukon XL and a Chevy 3500 dually ) so I'm really looking to sell off one of these as I have a garage full now.

Was hoping for Dana 60's front and rear with at least 7,500 LBs towing capacity for the boat but know one seems to have a handle on the exact specs, any help would be appreciated.

There is a thread somewhere in here stating the towing capacity is going to be 6500lbs. I think 6500 to 7000lbs is what the mid-size truck market delivers so I would not expect the JT to surpass that. Trust me all the info you can ever want on the JT is in here if you look.

See here for the towing specs. This is an old post but we have no reason to think things have changed. It also came from our man Jay, who we know works for FCA.
