Trade Nissan Titan for used 2021 Gladiator Diesel?

I bought a 21 JTRD used with 18.5k miles and am the 3rd owner. Where can I find information regarding warranty and what would be transferrable if anything? The Carfax report shows I still have 23 months and 17k miles left for basic warranty. Also, what about recalls? Is FCA still required to fix those?

warranty doesn't transfer after the second owner

I wouldn't do it for that reason alone

United States federal law dictates that the warranty is associated with the car and transfers to successive owners.

In the United States, 100% of the factory bumper to bumper and powertrain warranty transfers. It doesn't matter if you are the 1st or 50th owner.


Extended warranties, CPO warranties etc = dependent on contract language.

FCA/Stellantis can't say a damn thing about the factory warranty in the US. It transfers by federal law.
