I’m following! No one on this forum seems to like to mention trails.
Yeah, I just wish that there was some place that we don't need to go drive for hours to go off roading. Hopefully someone will know.

I have yet to explore with the truck, but I used to hike (20+ years ago) around these OHV trails between Sturbridge MA and Union CT. Marked as "Snowmobile trails" on google maps. This used to be the old Breakneck road. I am not sure if it still connects or its condition now.

There's really not much legal in CT. I'd suggest joining a group (FB) or club (there are a few) that organizes trail rides on private property or trails in MA/RI

I have lived in CT for 20yrs. This is the worst state for anything involving off road.
I will be watching this post and keeping my fingers crossed.

Chocolyle, can you still run through Case Mountain or any of the Nike Sites? What about Del Reeves (just not after dark)? Not that any of those would be challenging. Looks like everything else has been developed.
Have you reached out to any mountain bikers? They usually know some good hidden stuff.

Never hear of Del Reeves. Case is all closed off to vehicles. Pretty much anything in the Bolton, MAnchester, Glastonbury area is closed off to vehicles. There is a place in Ellington (short but fun) you can still access and up in Union.
