Hello L79lover,I took the vehicle in to the dealer shop and they ran all sorts of tests to come to the conclusion that the transmission was "operating as designed". I took my case to the general manager of the dealership and long story short, got the same answer. The major response by them was that Jeep had no history of complaints and therefore had no repair in place nor any interest of finding one if there was only a few complaints. I would ask those that are having this same "clunk" problem to visit their dealership and get it on record as a problem. I had already filed a complaint with Jeep and got a case number, but it was closed based on the dealer findings.
We rely on our dealers to be the eyes and ears in the field. We cannot promise a change of outcome but if you are interested in getting a second opinion from our end, please reach out to us privately with your case # and we would be happy to take a look for you.

Hello windyridge89,I will be taking mine in next week to get looked at. Mine is bad enough now that it does it almost everytime after being in park and it started clunking while the transmission downshifts
