Thank you for taking the time to not only read, but contribute absolutely nothing.

My agenda? Frankly to weigh out if I am keeping our JTRD or JLRD.
We have already had a JT 3.6 purchased back by FCA for misfire issues.
Constantly reading misfire issues, catastrophic cam and rocker issues, to new motor threads.
The Diesel has Derating issues due to oil temp when pushed hard. Though this might be avoidable with an oil cooler.
If the transmissions turn out to be a roll the dice, I’d like to get out of ours sooner than later.

This platform is new to us, however we have owned jeeps for years. Not trying to stick $30k+ into building this platform if it has crap longevity. The 2nd Gen ecodiesel was a trash box…. The 3rd Gen seems good…… but if the transmissions aren’t good what’s the point? Rather dump money into a LJ 2.8 Cummins.

Not sure what auto I have. It’s a 3.6L 2021 Sport S with factory 4:10s

I’ve the last few days it is holding high rpm’s on flat roads. For example, not shifting out of 5th gear going 55 mph at ~3.5k rpms.

while exhibiting this when I slow down to make a turn I find it aggressively down shifting and almost lurching.

I’ve had the truck 2 years and 20k miles up until the last few days I’ve had zero issues.

other things to note. I’m running 35 inch rubber and using a taser to adjust tire size.

No abuse, towing and sadly almost no off road.

any ideas?

next step will be to call my dealer.
