So the big draw for me is easier city parking and the ability to navigate tight mountain switchbacks. Do anybody have an idea how the turning radius compares to a JL, JLU, other similar midsized trucks and the half tonnes?
Do we have numbers yet?

As a logical progression I will say that we know the JL has a nice tight turn radius, JLU has a larger one and I can almost guarantee that the JT will have a turn radius close to my current Dakota which is not awful when considering its a truck but its not great either. The JT will have a better turn radius than any other crew cab Short box full size trucks I would think but may not be as great as some other midsizes.

Being the JT is longer than the other midsized crewcab short bed trucks. I'm curious as to how it compares to the others.

Pretty sure I saw in one of the spec sheets the turning circle is 13.5 metres...which in Aust puts it pretty much worst in class and about a metre more than competitors (Ranger is 12.7, Hilux is 11.8)

I'll freely admit that this spec is of concern...turning the hilux is like turning the ark, and the one thing I dont really rate about my current rig.
It's why I added a reverse camera ro assist while I do my Austin powers impression shuffling the car back and forth in car parks to get a clear swing exit
If the Jeep is to be worse than this...hmmmm, worrying...longer vehicle and worse turning circle.

I drive a 2005 Ram quad cab, and the specs are very similar

Overall length: 218 vs 235
Wheelbase: 137 vs 140
Turning diameter 44.5 vs 44.9
Overall width 73 vs 79

JL turning radius is 34.5, JLU is 40.8 and JT is 44.5. The Tacoma is 40.6 and Ford raptor is 47.8 to give you some comparisons.

It will be interesting to see how the turning radius changes with 37" tires. On the Rubicon the axles are 1.5" wider, so I am guessing the steering stops will be more forgiving of larger tires, and the non-Rubicon/Max Tow packages will need the steer stops adjusted.

Could the steering stops be turned in some to allow for more angle, or are they set at the maximum of the steering components? Anyone with a JL know?

Is this right? My van has a turning radius of 19.85' according to Google.
