Under Seat Storage Box?

Does anyone know if Mopar is selling the lockable under seat storage box yet? Mine has the compartment but doesn't have the locking lid. I'm wondering if they're going to make that available?

You know, ... yesterday evening I checked all over Tuffy's website for a steel lock box that duplicates the factory geometry for under-seat placement and was quite surprised they don't show any (yet), ... so I may have recommended the aftermarket option too soon. Apologies, my bad.

Maybe it hasn't caught up, but I'm willing to wait as I declined the Cargo/Trail Rail group package on my build.

Years ago I had great success with a fairly sizable Tuffy lock box in my Wrangler Sahara. It had a lockable retractable drawer that slid in & out from behind the open tailgate. Plus with the tailgate shut and locked you couldn't get to it. Very convenient for storing/hiding stuff, and very strong and secure. My 255lb BIL could stand on it, no issues.

Yea, no way I’d pay $1200 for it. I’m sure someone will start coming out with less expensive options.

Especially when the factory option with the cargo rails is only $895. I thought $900 was a bit steep for all of it, but the price of the box alone is in a whole new realm.

Yep! That’s the better way to get it because the box definitely isn’t worth anywhere near $1200 LOL! That’s insane.
