Just installed my Racing Optics windshield defense - turned out relatively perfect. It's a 3 layer film that has amazing optical clarity and every 6 months or as required...you peel off the outer layer to get to a brand new window.

They send you everything you need to do the install yourself and I bought my kit from Summit Racing. 220 American = 400 Canadian (including the 50 delivery and the Trump tax)

The clarity is amazing and my worry was that the windshield wipers would scar the layer...in fact they glide like nuthin was there!

We've installed both the Racing Optics and the ExoShield. We sell one, ...ExoShield. Were unhappy with the fitment ont he Racing Optics, maybe ot was an earlier version. And the thought of having to peel away and have less protection as you continue had me baffled. If the base layer is as good as all layers why do you need additional layers to begin with? I've had ExoShield on my Jeeps and Broncos for years now and continue to be crack-free. The Gladiator windshield is scratched, chipped, pitted and needs to be replaced, but is also a testament to 4 years of protection, still on OEM original glass.
