Use Navigation while driving to change address.

I want to be able ro edit navigation on my '21 Gladiator. When I had a Ford Ranger I was able to use Jscan to do this. I also want to adjust the navigation volume where it will stay on a constant level. Right now when I have the navigation volume set and then turn off the engine and then restart it the volume goes back to the factory level and I have to change it back to the level I want.

What programer do I need to so this? I have read that the mini tazer will do this but does it have ro remain plugged in? And then can it change the permanent setting for the volume?
