Using bed power outlet

I tried using a small portable vacuum with the bed outlet. Turned vehicle on and hit the button to the left of the steering wheel.
That button blinked a few times then would go off and I couldn't get the vacuum to turn on.
Am I missing something?

Does the vacum use more then 400watts, or 3.3 amps, should be a label on the vacum. Most people don’t realize there is a pretty low limit it has. I love the new Ford electric F-150 ad , showing all the stuff the truck can power including an entire house during a power outage, perhaps it can…..Jack

Too much power draw?
Ran on my Taco which I thought had about the same setup.

It's almost double the watts the JT inverter puts out.

My Tacoma ran it and it had the same power rating of 120V/400W

It's possible the vac only draws that much on startup, and the Taco was less sensitive to a temporary but potentially unsafe and damaging overload. In any case, you should NOT be trying to run a 740 watt device off a 400 watt inverte;, Jeep, Toyota, Ford, whatever.
