$595.00!!!! ????

When I posted the speaker, I was looking at an article from like 2019 that showed the picture and talked about the upcoming Gladiator and gave that 295 price. I knew it was now more but NOT that much...

I've seen some extremely nice bluetooth speakers even smaller at Costco for like 99 bucks that sound amazing compared to 20 years ago. You get two of them, and they do stereo... I got one that sits on the porch has pretty lights for 99 bucks that sounds better than stereos from 40 years ago.

I bet money if one of these is on a lot car, ordered by the stealership who apparently has employees who do, the Gladiator didn't have a limited slip differential, for two hundred bucks more, but SURE had an extra speaker for what? Well, I guess if you live in Southern California, a speaker you can take to the beach might be more important than a limited slip differential. Here in Montana? Not so much.
I have it. I wouldn't have opted to pay for it, but it was already in my JTR when I bought it off the lot. Not going to lie I thought it was silly but I use it all the time. I have other (better) speakers, but they're never with me when I need one. This one is always there as long as the truck is with me, and always charged.

Then you would have had dents in your doors instead of the cowling! Lol!
No, actually the hard end of the JKU Mirror base hits the soft sheet metal on the cowl first.

It's especially notorious (for me at least (on windy days or parking downhill) when removing standard doors & putting on my tube doors. If the limit strap is off, look out for swinging waaaay too far open. LOL

I don't remember where JT & JL doors hit because I'm more careful now.

Its not a MOD but that frigging Key Fob from the factory is ridiculous!!
It's huge bigger than my Ram 2500 fob and weird shaped. My wife's Cherokee and my old Renegade were nice ergonomic and about half the size with more stuff.

Oh, but I bet you didn't know but that little square space between your cupholders in the middle is designed, yes, I said designed, specifically to hold a key fob. NOW, that's pretty worthless also imho, but then again, the fob does't fit on my key chain so...I guess I gotta put it somewhere...

To put the size of the key in perspective: When I bought my truck I thought that was for my cell phone, so I used it as such.

I didn't know about the Jerry Can connection. Learning something every day. That explains the ...ergonomics...

i dont have this exact model but it does change responsiveness but its something you have to maintain as you drive i left mine in eco for a 3000 mile trip towing. oh man got like 11 mpg. just changed it this week to the lowest high output setting and WOW now i am getting almost 16 mpg again. I might just take it out. Highest setting is way too snappy. It will chirp the tires though on dry pavement. it just jumps off the line, Economy setting is very granny and these JT's like to get to speed fast opposed to grannying it to speed.
