Visor Problem - Solution

Jeep JT/JKs are notorious for the either the driver or passenger visor breaking. The factory cost replacement is north of $250.00..or..you can go to Amazon and pay $20 for a great fix! Just thought I would share and I apologize in advance if someone already has posted this information.

I saw these the other day. They look lower profile and metal. Probably would have gotten these if I had seen them at the time.

this guy is old news... a well known issue with JL Wranglers and there are both one screw and 2 screw solutions .
BTW this visor will break eventually

Ordered the Taccom ones. From what I was reading and seeing on youtube the metal ones that go on both sides are thicker and people have been reporting damage to the sun visor itself. Cant believe after a year and a half the visor would fail like that. FIAT better have this fixed by now!

Passenger side just broke! Ordered Taccom 2 screw version on Amazon, $25 + $5 shipping. Cheaper than going to the dealer!

I bought these preemptively before my visors had a chance to break. 5 minute install, metal and they are awesome!!!!! Does not cause visor damage like some 2 screw ones.

Yep I’ve got these as well. Wife’s 20 JLU had the driver side let go. Figured get the 4 pack so I’m ready when they let loose in my JT as well.
