What's goin on everyone?!
I'm new to the Jeep life and community and excited for a little change of scenery.
Pavement and race tracks have always been my thing but after seeing a few custom Jeep pickups built in Los Angeles (recently moved to Austin, TX from LA) I knew that I wanted one someday.
It just so happened that Jeep would then end up releasing the Gladiator only a couple years later so I'm beyond happy to finally own one.
I have been ordering parts while waiting during this "order and wait" period, so I'll update the thread with parts and updates when installed.
Friend of mine said the Jeep life is funny in the way it's expensive because the little things all add up and I now I understand what he means with the $400 here, $500 there, etc, I think part wise we're around $5k so far and a few more crucial things left.
A big thanks to the community and this forum so far with the help along the way, I can tell this community is going to be a good one and I'll help where I can as well.
Main purpose of the vehicle is go camping, (sadly not in CA anymore because Big Sur area is one of my favorite places in the USA) off-roading adventures, drive across the country and daily drive for leisure.
Thankfully I work from anywhere with wifi so I won't need to put on daily commute miles which will help offset on the long road trips.
7/17: Ordered via Gupton
7/19: VIN Received
8/10: Jeep Chat says all materials have been received and vehicle should enter build process shortly.
