Is that for real? I never seen a mounting plate like that :whatsgoingon:
It's an option if your state requires a front bumper, one of the cheaper ways to get a winch mounted.

Or you can try the DIY winch plate only that I added just a moment ago. Just search "Front winch bumper on a budget".

Is this enough winch for a stock JTR? I know 12k would be better, but $599 is almost too good to pass up.

Personal opinion, I think the 10k is well matched to the Wrangler 4dr, but even if that were to get swallowed in mud I think the 12k could be necessary. For the JT I went with the 12k, but if all you're ever going to do is fire trails and light offroading the 10k would probably be plenty.

Plenty of winch for a 6000 pound rig. Warn as well as most winch manufacturers recommend a factor of 1.5x vehicle weight.
That is the winch I have on my JTRD and have total faith it will do the job.
You could always pack a snatch block to double your pulling powerif your worried.

12k would be my preference but this is a smoking deal
I would tend to agree for the heavy overland rig, or Gladiator on big meats, fully armored, etc.

But for someone who doesnt have a winch and is looking to pick up a new one or upgrade an existing one, it is hard to pass on a $600 WARN
