The extra towing capacity is my number one reason for getting a Gladiator over a 2 door JL.

A ragtop pickup that I can daily. It’d be almost my perfect vehicle... I can’t imagine what’ll make me sell her, except a gen 2 or some gen 1.5 upgrades that I can’t live without.

I keep going back and forth on the 2 door JLR idea. I just think I need more room but not 218” haha

Hello! I'm new to the forum but have been visiting the site for the past year and some change, ever since it was the scrambler forum! Couldn't resist making an account and jumping into the community.

I've had both a truck and a jeep for years due to how frequently I take gear and people on adventures. I'm most excited for the ability to have one great vehicle that has capacity for gear hauling and people placement. I regularly ice/rock climb, backpack, kayak, etc. I used to take my YJ to all my river access spots for kayaking when it was just used as a shuttle vehicle and love the feeling of jumping into the driver seat in my wet gear and warning up in the direct sunlight. I'll be happy to use to to load up canyoneering gear in the bed and a few buddies to get to the canyon access. It's definitely a lifestyle vehicle and I can't wait to drop down to 1 vehicle to accomodate my lifestyle!

i'm looking for PLYWOOD in the back of my JT, does that count?

I want the most capable 8 mile per day mall crawling, plywood hauling, top down, dead deer hauling, half door, someday take the jeep on some fun off-road journeys, Merican TRUCK!
