One of the patents covering the Gladiator is US design patents D887899, D909917, and D910493. All stemming from an initial design that was filed on November 15, 2018.
A year later, on October 1, 2019 the following design patent was submitted. Maybe one day Jeep will make it.

I'd be all over it. The only other vehicle I considered was a JL 2 door Wrangler Rubicon but coming out of a Tacoma, I really wanted a pickup bed rather than pulling around a little utility trailer for my weekend warrior chores.

Wish I had bought the one I actually saw. Although I like the 4 door version better.

Love the look of single cab JT's. Totally cool vibe. Not gonna lie though - if the Land Rover Defender trucks were fully legal in the US, I would totally jump on the opportunity first regardless of single or double cab.

2 door jeep would be nice with a little added space behind the seat for storage, etc.

A guy about a mile from me has a stock commanche at his house. Appears to be his dd. Looks to be in very good shape. Never at home when I try to stop in and check it out. Maybe one day I'll catch him in.

I got rid of my 88 Jeep Comanche in 2008 for what I thought at the time was a large amount of cash. It goes down in history as one of my larger mistakes.

Hate to hear that. Like they say, hindsight is 20/20. I still regret selling my first Jeep. Was a 77 CJ7, 8 in lift and 39" Gumbo monster mudders. Had an automatic transmission and was a beast off road. Friend of mind had a Nissan hardbody, I was always fishing him out of his miscues.
