Have a laundry list of things to do. I put the fender liners in as raw aluminum because I didn't know if I wanted silver or black. I decided I want black, so took out, cleaned and prepped the rears. Will work on the fronts next.

Also going to dynamat the backside.

Spent the last 2 days installing the AEV 2" Mojave lift with their geometry correction brackets. But only the front half, that's as far as I got in 2 days (did it at a DIY shop with limited hours). Nothing was as easy as it seems. I thought Jeeps were supposed to be easy to work on????

Only half kidding. Main struggles were awkward angles to get torque to loosen on control arm and track bar bolts, there is not a lot of room between the bolts and the track bar/drag link/steering stabilizers/all the metal down there. And then had a hell of a time lining up the axle to get the shocks back in at the very end, that part alone took me about 2 hours to figure out. Oh, and then the shock extension brackets from AEV were too narrow to fit around the stock shock mounts, and I had to bend them in a vice.

For the next 24h, rocking the Carolina Squat until I get back in there and finish up with the rear. Hopefully won't have the same problems - although I am worried about being able to line up the axle without the ability to turn the steering wheel and shift it right to left. Oh, and have to realign the steering wheel too - I'm about 10 degrees from center and getting the ESC warning issue. Almost there!

Nice ! Do you pass though the back doors to get to the other side of the garage?
There is more room there than it looks like. In the front anyway.

Installed an AEV steering stabilizer on the Mojave. Now the truck is perfect. Tracks straight and the steering is tight! Took all but 15 minutes for a huge upgrade! Itā€™s made by Billstein!

Is it a neutral shock or does it push out on its own?

Iā€™m not sureā€¦
When you installed it, did the piston force its way out or did it stay in position on its own? The reason I ask is because Iā€™ve had issues with steering shocks in the past that caused a pull because it was pushing out.

Looks pretty level. Maybe just a hair high. I actually have a AEV 2" lift waiting to go in and have been debating maybe just throwing a 3/4 or 1-1/2" spacer in the rear (instead of the 2" spacer) to lose a little bit of the rake.

Installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller.

Dumb that Max Tow doesn't include these.
You didnā€™t by chance get a photo of where it plugs in under the dash did you? I was told by a dealer it couldnā€™t be installed on my JTRD. Benny said it could. Iā€™d like to verify it can before I purchase. And yesā€¦I have the tow packageā€¦. I was told the harness Iā€™d have to tie into is taped up under there along side the steering column somewhere. Aside from that I really didnā€™t know what I was looking for.

New tires! Goodyear UltraTerrain in 285/70/17 installed on the OEM gloss black rims. E load rating, probably way overkill for my needs, but happy so far. Tires poke outside the fenders by maybe an inch. Perfect, in my opinion.

My local @Discount Tire shop got me in and out in 30 minutes. Awesome job.
