Here ya go brother, clean up those cut edges with this.

Edge Trim Black Large, Fits Edge 1/4 Inch, Length 10 Feet (3.05 Meter) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KGAKG2...abc_AKSC42SY5ZZQ539MBZPB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I installed the Rubicon bed sliders last year and used that kind of trim to neaten up the lines where you have to cut the bumper to make them fit. now it looks way better with the trim in place.

It came with 2 strips to do it with. The part where I commented on not following the instructions is I only needed to notch out a spot on bumper. It might be a slight change on it or that I'm mounting lower.

Checked the VIN/Window sticker status—nothing yet, D1 though. Ordered a Rugged Ridge retractable tonneau (ships next week), a Quadratec dead pedal with pad (back ordered until June), Quadratec/WeatherTech floor mats, and some Quadratec step bars. Selling my JL stuff and setting the JL back as close to factory before I offload it.

Did the MB Quart 6 speaker and amp upgrade.

Probably a good 7+ hours from unpacking to cleaned up. And did a little extra cleaning as I had everything opened up and we got a week of 70 degree weather here so trying to give it a good first run and see how long I can go topless. 😁

While not an install for the faint of heart, it wasn’t too terrible. Lots of screws and clips, but not much hard to get at. Nothing really problematic with the kit aside from the instructions having a few out of place photos, and having to navigate a couple manuals, as well as the underseat amp mounting plate was not sized right to get all the screws in. Its like a mm off.

Otherwise really pleased with the sound out of it. I’m sure there’s more to get out of it with a sound processor and a subwoofer, but as a “base” setup, it does fix some of the shortcomings with 6x9s for the soundbar as well as giving 6.5” for the dash pods. The wiring is also good with connectors included for expanding with a sub, as well as optional optical output.

I did change the path for the power wire to up over the firewall behind the windscreen as I didn’t want to pass it underside and through the floor grommet. I also tucked it over to the passenger side sill and in the factory protectors which I had just enough wire length to do so. Otherwise nothing was short or overly long. So underseat is really pretty clean with just the amps exposed and all the connections neat under the carpet.

I bought the quake led fender chop for my sport s and figured out away to keep my inner fender instead of tossing it away. I absolutely love the look of it and they are super bright as well!

What is your advise for keeping the inner fenders? I have a set of these coming and was hoping to keep the inner fender? Thanks!
