how do you like them? i ordered exact ones yesterday. supposed to be here tomorrow.

I’m very pleased. Got up to 65 with them and no vibration whatsoever. It was worth the money for me because I wanted a functional mirror, not just a legal one.

Took the doors off for the first time, mounted holders in the garage and installed new rugged ridge tube doors/covers... just in time for a Colorado mountain rainstorm. Couldn’t drive with the tube doors, tomorrow I guess!

I finished getting her naked added my Lange coyote mirrors and tried them out, very pleased with them also made my hard top hoist bracket

I followed another guys build for the bracket it’s a 2x4 with an eyebolt then bolts at each end I bought strapping and a grommet kit off Amazon and used pins with fender washers to go through 4 bolt holes for top I put some padding on bottom of 2x4 so it doesn’t scratch the top I’ll post the link for the thread

New Lift!

Got the truck back from Trailtec 4x4 after replacing the Mopar 2" lift with the AEV 2.5 Dualsport JT kit.

Holy Cow!!!! Amazing difference!!! The truck is TIGHT!

I was pretty happy with the Mopar lift, to be honest, but I was starting to get a little tired of all the lateral sway caused by just about every bump. Almost like the truck was trying to rock me to sleep... With the AEV kit I get one lean and then it's immediately rock solid again. I was stunned at the difference it made. Granted, the ride is a little harder on the pavement, but not enough to bother me and the trade off is absolutely worth it.

Between this suspension upgrade, the switch to 4.88s and the Synergy track bar it feels like a totally different truck. It holds a line on the highway hands free, it drives great, I can feel the power through the steering wheel, and I LOVE it.

It may be just my imagination, but I think the "driveway stance" looks better, too. The AEV is a 2.5" kit, but actually measures out to more like 3" to 3.5". The springs are significantly taller than the Mopar set, but I didn't get a photo comparison of them. The kit is designed for the JT and specifically (so they claim) for carrying a heavy load in the bed, and it's clearly just eating up the top-heavy weight of my rack.

No exacting scientific ,measurements here, but you can see from the pix below that the front height/clearance didn't change at all (if anything I lost about 1/4"), but the increase in the rear was significant, in the neighborhood of +2". I suspect once I load the bed and mount the RTT I'll get back to something close to the unloaded stance of the Mopar lift.

Well I just bolted the hand winch to the wall and bolted some pulleys to ceiling joists i had used the hoist previously for my jku top, had a different bracket and I gave it to my dad for his jku, I’m happy with it the hoist is great probably have $50 in it, also use it for skinning deer in the fall... I have a very high ceiling so it frees up room in the garage.once I finish all my
Projects I’ll be parking the gladiator in the garage more permanently
