Wheels finally came in after quite a wait. So went forth with Mopar lift , Fuel wheels and Toyo tires.
I lowered the rear of my glad with the mopar lift. Now I’m thinking the higher rear will help to help prevent bumper drag when off reading. Looks good what size tires do you have?
That's what my wife saidInstalled (two screws) a bullitpoint cell phone mount. This may be overboard with three mounts. Figured 1 for my cell, one for GoPro (have to buy a camera) and one for my wife cell. Now I got to get a GoPro. My wife says she will hold her phone as she has for the past 20 plus years. What do you think?
Yeah, my wife gets pissed when I fix a problem she didn't know she had. They're funny that way.My wife says she will hold her phone as she has for the past 20 plus years. What do you think?
May I ask how you mounted the radio head above the mirror? I have an Icom head I may want to relocate. Thanks.Installed my Wouxun KG-1000g 50watt gmrs radio. Mounted the base under the driver's seat then ran power through a bank of switches I installed under the steering wheel. Face plate was mounted right above rear view mirror.
Next I put friction tape on my rock rails. Having slipped off it when it was wet was enough for me.
The radio face plate came with a mount that I used self tapping screws into the Jeeps removable cover behind the mirror. I did this on purpose so if I ever wanted to put it back to stock that cover looks to be no more then $30.May I ask how you mounted the radio head above the mirror? I have an Icom head I may want to relocate. Thanks.
How’s the ride?2in rear bump stop extensions with the blue sumo springs bump stops.
the bumps I intentionally hit today werr surprisingly nice. The rear didnt dip nearly as much and there wasn’t any harsh snap back on the rear end after the bump. Over all, initial impression, im impressed. How’s the ride?
You’re using them more as intended with those bump stop extensions, I never tow so I actually thought of trying them without any..
