Installed the Vision X rear light kit using the Aux switch. Added some 3M red reflective tape to the bracket as seen by other forum members.
No doubt when backing into dark places now!

I have the MOPAR brake controller which uses two mounting points on the far left so I doubt some dead pedals would work for me - but one that attaches to the firewall might. Which anchor point does this one use? I really need a dead pedal.
There is a 13mm nut on the firewall that is about 3 inches to the left of the brake pedal. I understand your need for a dead pedal. It really makes driving more comfortable both on-road and off-road!

Eight weeks after placing the order, my Quadratec Dead Pedal finally arrived. I've read a lot of comments on this forum about people having difficulties removing the mounting nut from the firewall because of how tight it is. Fortunately, I have a 20-inch extension with my socket set which moved the ratchet to a point where I could easily put some torque on it and the nut loosened up easily. I like the pedal. It seems solid and well made.

I absolutely miss the dead pedal i had on my Wrangler, I almost pushed the buy button on the quadratech one a week or so ago. The only thing that held me back was the delay. Hearing that you got and like it though, and not being able to find anything else that looks as good makes me realize I should have just ordered it. I would be a week closer now to having it...

In spite of the wait, my Quadratech dead pedal might be the easiest, most noticeable upgrade I've done (if I too didn't struggle with that damn 13mm nut). I can't wait for my next road trip without my toe pointed down the whole ride. I never expected it would make such a difference.

Yes, backup camera works great. It was a super simple plug and play install, took maybe 10-15 minutes including removing the old one. Definitely a significant improvement to the Sport dash ha.

Even got the Off Road pages working since I had a Tazer mini.

Apple carplay, XM, NAV, all work great like it should.

did you have to buy the navigation antenna add on, or does it already have that still with the 5 inch radio. i want to do the same.

Gave the bed a wipedown as I needed to haul some things so after emptying my gear crates out, saw the muck on the mat and underneath it and figured with the rains departing, it could use a clean.

Figured I’d take a few pics as i put the Smartliner in the day I picked up the truck and havent removed it yet. So for those wondering if the mats are worth it, I’d definitely say so.

I had a bedliner in my last truck and for all the crap I muck up and load up and leave out in the rain, everything is really nice. Theres one dent on the bed floor. But its pretty small, and if it was dented through a dense 1/2” or so of rubber, definitely would have been a bigger impression.

I was worried that under the mat was gonna be a mess, but there was little debris trapped, mostly the remains of mud water. And the wear scuffs were pretty minimal.

I do want a tailgate protector tho as you can see its “buffed” matte from things dragging. But may DIY something or another once I get the camper on and see how it all goes.

Installed the factory baby bumper LED fog lights in my MetalCloak bumper. There are approximately 32,000 bolts and fasteners you have to remove to get to the OEM cabling to re-use it.

Also, finally installed the Rugged Ridge Armis hard rolling tonneau cover. It’s an easy install of you’re smart and clean and re-tap the bed liner out of the screw holes. Which I didn’t do. LOL

Good looking truck and bumper! Your the second person I have heard comments from regarding all the bolts needed to be removed to salvage the fog light harness. I'm going to spend $30 and get a new harness.

Installed door sill protectors. I’m impressed with these. They’re rubbery, use genuine 3M tape, and are molded to the sills quite well. Bonus that they have a Jeep and Since 1941 on the front ones.

Started by stripping her naked, then I got her mounted with new 35x12.50-17 Kenda Klever RT601. ;)
Really pleased with how smooth and quiet they are.

I had SiriusXM from the factory, so didn't need the XM antenna (it's $95 if you do). Just plug and play, same plugs as the 5" on the 8.4".

I'm not sure if the 5" without the factory XM option includes a GPS antenna for nav? Worst case it's $95 and running it up on to the soundbar. But, it might already have one.

EDIT: To clarify ha, I read that back and it sounded a bit confusing. I did not need to add a separate Nav antenna.
