Got the bed liner sprayed on and put a Deezee bed mat on top (mat is for hauling kayaks). Installed Mopar floor mats and Rugged Ridge door sill protectors. Trying to decide between a tonneau cover and a Softopper.

Great looking GSD. Dog hair machines, those dogs.
Thank you. Got 600 miles on the Jeep and figured it was time to let her break it in. She is used to going everywhere with me. You ain’t lying about the hair machines.

Finished up my week strong. Wired up my new winch and trying to decide on which D-Ring shackle, red or gray? Pretty happy with the progression as well as the new Rugged Ridge Venator front bumper.

Got some MORryde side mounts for the RotoPax cans.

Pretty clean install. Sandwiches down on the side rail and on the cowl bolts. Sturdy steel too.

Was also able to double it up with the extension and it clears the mirror by a 1/4”. The strap is on there as I didn’t get the deluxe mounts which give it a little extra stability, but straps also just put in a bit of security to deter a casual passerby.
I think I’ll be running it single for the most part, but going out for the weekend for the Gambler 500 Oregon so figured be good to have some extra.

Gonna be a good testing of the gear and the Gladiator. First time I have it laden down with this much gear, people and dogs. Running to the store could definitely feel the weight in the suspension. I do have the terraflex bumpstops which do a little better, but definitely will be evaluating it over these upcoming miles and take notes.

Additionally got in the 12v cigarette lighter “always on” kit installed finally. With the solar hood in now I feel safe to let it leach and charge devices.

How are you enjoying that solar panel and does it do a good or decent job at keeping your battery topped off …. Was thinking if getting one but they only have the 30 watt for the rubicon

New gears to go with the bigger tires. Went with 5.38s.

I will update after I get a few miles but so far, I am loving it. Also tow a trailer with this thing so that factored into the decision as well.

How are those 5:38s working out? … I’m on the fence with 5:13’s or 5:38’s since i live in AZ

so far so good. Havent really tested it to its paces, but also don’t have much more than cell phones and radios.
While the hood solar is limited to 30w, it has MC4 connectors so you can plug a 100w portable panel in and do your thing as well. It’s pricey per watt as far as solar goes, but does what it needs to

Finally got the chance to install my VisionX reverse lights. Pretty straightforward. I added stickon reflectors before installing. Probably could have just used reflective tape like others have done, but this way the reflectors are DOT approved. In reality that probably doesn't matter.

When I first started installing the harness, it seemed like the section between the left and right lights was WAY too long. But turns out it was the exact perfect length to follow the original existing wiring harness. Wired it to my factory auxiliary switches, so I didn't need to use the included switch and relay harness. All the wiring seems solid, with strain reliefs and watertight connectors and everything protected in a loom.
