Swapped rock rails for Mopar tubular side steps. Figure I could swap back if needed, but in the meantime some passengers need a little help getting in. They don't hide the rocker as well, but they look good.

Installed my Metalcloak full skid plates and tightened up a lower control arm bolt that was loose
And…. I updated my 1st post in my build thread… added a mods list…. With more to come this week ;)

Did a detail... I know, you're never supposed to detail a new Jeep, but just trying to protect my investment. Full ceramic. I even ceramic coated the black top. I will say, it makes it the top a little shinier but not a ton...
I was taught the same thing about not messing with new paint but when I looked through the owners manual it doesn't say anything at all about a breaking period when discussing paint. This is all I can find about the paint and it's in the Servicing and Maintenance Section. Not one word about a break in period.

I was taught the same thing about not messing with new paint but when I looked through the owners manual it doesn't say anything at all about a breaking period when discussing paint. This is all I can find about the paint and it's in the Servicing and Maintenance Section. Not one word about a break in period.

I looked in the manual for that too. Must be better paint nowadays.

Oh and I forgot to mention… I changed out my transfer case atf fluid before installing my skid plates. Yeah yeah I know 25k early but easier access with skid plates all off and I put in Amsoil’s synthetic ATF…. I’m hoping she shifts like butter now.

I was reading the other day that some of the push back in shifting the transfer case is due to the FAD. Takes a bit to get the front driveshaft in sink. Not that i have noticed a problem but maybe it will never be like BUTTER BABY.
