I think the parts bag is covering it and making look that way. Regardless, a gasket would be the least of his worries. Hopefully he has a return window to whoever he bought them from.
I see it now. The gasket extends to the edges of the bag.

Going on our first "camping" overland trip this weekend now that the weather in the Northwest is getting better especially in Central WA. Had to make sure this setup was going to be fine. Looks like it will work out just fine....

Replaced my rear shocks yesterday. Lost a seal on the passenger rear. Went ahead and upgraded both rears to the newer Icon 27727CP adjustable version and will have the old ones rebuilt for another time.

Well, technically it was yesterday...
Added the Mopar bug deflector because the last few weeks have been REALLY bad. Drove it almost 300 miles right after installing it, and it seems to help some.

I have that on my rig. Still get bugs on the windshield.

Got Roll n Lock XT installed last night. Finally. Long story. This one went on mostly nice.

Bought the XT to add bars and a basket. First set of crossbars were bent (?) so they went back. This by itself seems pretty good. It was tough to trim my bedliner straight but it’s hidden anyway.

I was really leaning towards a DiamondBack SE, but started getting worried about trying to install the shims. I started looking at this and now seeing it installed outside of YouTube and marketing videos, I am liking more and more. Any challenges with the install, or is it as easy as the videos make it seem?

Actually the install isn't bad at all. It could have been easier with another person. Carrying the canister up a few steps of a ladder into the bed might throw some off a bit. But, I'm older and stubborn and fortunately still able!!

I didn't need any of the leveling shims or spacers at all.

People Work?
Since I think the storage space around the center console is limited, I added a few more little bins.

Where'd you get the one in the first pic? Someone was looking for a place to put their phone and that looks ideal.

Charged the battery.
Damn thing, after sitting two months, no power whatsoever.
It didn't have to charge very long, though.
But now the ESS is showing Not Ready, but no reason. I probably killed the small battery.
