Im going to wire up some lights and just need to know what gauge deutsch connectors to get. ?Factory Aux switches have different size wires than the Aux kit that you or the dealer installs.
I believe the factory install, has 12 awg on the 40 A switches, and about 16 awg on the 15 amp switches. In the passenger footwell, the 10 amp, direct to battery and ignition on wires are smaller, perhaps 18 awg or less.
What are you trying to figure out?

2 sets of 3” diode dynamics pods, each pod drawing 3 amps at 12.8v.
Youre not wrong, but I cant see diode dynamics pods breaking 15 amps. The 3” light pods i put on my KTM dont break 10 at full power, so it should be fine on the low draw. I just neded to know wha gauge the wires were for it.I could be wrong, but I think it is all about the amps. I can tell you I made the mistake of not reading the max amp draw under load, not just amp draw on my compressor and had to wire twice based on the amp draw, maybe if in doubt go heavy based on the max the aux switch will handle in case you want to go with something else or more amps on that switch, most wire gauge ratings are based on amps I believe. Something like this (chart mid way down):

10AWG for 15A at 15 feet?A little more precision in the chart at the lower amp ratings.

And remember your length is from the source (battery) to the load and back to the source.
Are these the halogen daylighters or LED? I just bought the halogens for my Gladiator and I am on the fence about changing the fuse out to 20A since the two lights add up to 16.6A.I have my two KC on switch 3. How many lights are you running? What kind of draw will they have? I don't see my two LEDs running over the 15.
