I want a Sport with AC. if it not then a Sport S with AC. My Roman will carry me into the woods of South Carolina where I like to sit and hunt. It will carry out the deer and hogs that I might kill. It will carry big loads to where ever I need to go, but most of all it will make any Ford or Chevy on the road stop, pull over and bow their grills in respect!

The wife and I have busy work lives and I'd like to do the overlanding thing and get away from it all. The idea of a self-contained, no trailer, and most any road capable vehicle interests me. The journey will be in getting it setup for our needs. I'm envisioning a tent on a rack above the bed and sealed storage underneath that rack and within the bed. What would be nice is if I could disconnect the frame/tent and winch it up in my garage off of the bed. That way driving it around town is more "normal" then all I do is lower the assembly onto the bed and tighten some bolts or something.

Let me count the ways
Weekend errand runner with the family and home improvement store stops
Occasionally drop my middle-schooler off
Sunday church ride and something fun to wash
National grasslands to work my bird dog - dog on floorbard with seats up
West Texas to hunt quail and deer - 4wd required - towing 4wheeler - dog in kennel on seats folded down
North Texas to hunt ducks - 4wd required to access area - muddy gear and mud sligging dog kenneled in back of truck
Gulf coast for trout and redfish - 4wd needed to access summer surf fishing spots - will tow boat from near-by storage to bay - dog on floor
Colorado to visit buddy, sumer hiking/fly fishing, fall mule deer hunt or winter ski trip with youngest daughter
Family vacation to Yellowstone - top off a must
Family vaction to New Braunfels - top off for little "safari" park
Teach my youngest to drive and off-road
Plan to get back into trail riding enduro bikes in National Forest with oldest son, now that he's grown
Haul plywood and lumber to build new garden shed and deer blinds
