What amazed me was how many price points and how many variants. The top price point also is fairly low which is encouraging

If a dealer can get a premium or market pricing add on for in stock units some will charge it. It’s up to the consumer to pay it. My advice is to use one of the identified dealer and salesmen on the JL forum or soon to be identified salesman, dealers on this forum who will allow you you to order under invoice. You may need to join trade lightly or join a group to get affiliate pricing. Lots of advice about those programs on JL forum and may be some here. Lastly, some of the Idaho dealers appear willing to deal on in stock JL units. So, once inventory builds later this summer you will see those deals.
Personally I think every dealer is going to get between 1 and 15 JTs starting in March and April. Those will be sent out by FCA and the dealers won’t have a say in what options, trim, or color they get. Those will be offered to the first depositors. Once those are delivered dealers will order JTs they want and then the late availability colors will open and everyone will be able to order the color and build (except diesel) they want for under invoice for June/July deliveries.
