What is next for your Gladiator?

Topic says it all. What’s next? A mod? A trip? Rooftop tent? Giving the keys to a family member? Going to the shop? Thought it’d be cool to hear the aspirations and plans from fellow jeepers.

Hopefully picking up my new 2020 North edition this week. They've had at jeep for 3 weeks and it's almost done.! Just waiting on side steps. And those are 40s!

Sport S (Max Tow). Took it out once before but didn’t really get to test it like today. I definitely want to do a lift next. Got stuck going down a trench and I know if I had a little more height clearance it wouldn’t have been an issue. Overall I’m pretty impressed for a stock Gladiator.

Warn winch, maybe AUX lights for the front.

What I’ve done before lights... Mopar 2” lift, Fox Steering stabilizer, 37’s, Steersmarts drag link, tie rod, Teraflex track bar, Afe intake, afe exhaust, 4.88 gears, retuned, tint, graphics, Added Mopar Aux panel, Rhino lined bed, mopar hardtonneau,Vision X LED Back Up Reverse Light Kit, Gorecon Smoked Led fender lights and Oracle Smoked side markers.

I just got it back yesterday after a solid week at the dealer getting the bad body bolt nut welds fixed. Over the next few days I'll be adding a Rancho front diff skid plate, Rancho rear shock/control arm skids, and a couple of other small armor items. I'm still shopping for an exhaust skid plate for the center muffler which hangs low.

after about 2 months, all the graphics arefinished along with lift, rims, tires, bedliner, tonneau cover, hitch and tint.

Next phase will be new black and blue painted grill, additional set of factory steel wheels, 2nd top (vert), pedal covers and interior accents.

Small stuff next for me. Rock Hard control arm and shock mount skids, maybe diff skids, and then a 67 designs phone mount. Hopefully a front bumper and winch later this year as well. Once these tires are done I'll do Method 701's and 37's

Just added KC lights, next is the WARN winch. Taking a trip to Arizona, Black Canyon in September.

Sweet! I’d love to put those on mine when I get it but dang that’s a lot of money.

Cheaper than the alternative repairs if left unprotected.

I also ordered rancho front and rear diff sliders and some coil spacers to make up for the added weight of the steel bumper , winch, full belly pan and the factory rake. Spacers and front slider are here already but the rear is back ordered and the belly pan has 10-30 day window on the drop ship.

We are all about the rust here in Nova Scotia. That sucks. I wonder if there is a coating that might help prevent that. Rust check or something.

Next is installing my Rugged Ridge Arcus bumper and Warn VR EVO 10S winch. Both should be arriving middle of next week.

Just not sure which ham radio I want to use.

I'm pretty happy with this. Btech UV-50X2. Great range, produces more power than it's rated for, good display, lots of features. The programming software is garbage, and only runs on Windows, but Chirp supports it. The cable is plug and play on a Mac, good luck on Windows.

Got these sent to me from Loyo for free to test out on my Jeep. They are bright and not over done. I'm satisfied. Next will be custom made Taillight guards. The guy should be ready to start on them next week.

First mod I recommend for new JT owners, if your's was not factory ordered with it (mine wasn't)... Is the Mopar Jeep all-weather front & rear floor mats with the drain plugs that go through the floor board. That was my first mod. And it's been worth every penny. Got them on eBay from a dealer for like $117 shipped to my door.

Love mine. They definitely beat the heck out of carpet floor mats
